Python Job: AI Engineer

Reporting to our Director AI, you will join our multidisciplinary team at Faethm to shape our early-stage NLP solutions and data pipelines for meeting the needs of our products and clients by utilising data science, machine learning, and software engineering.

As a Senior AI Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Research and develop algorithms using machine learning and natural language processing approaches for identifying entities and intents.
• Analyse existing NLP and/or ML models in Faethm products and propose improvement.
• Participate in the development and implementation of scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant ML applications
• Collaborate with data science and software teams to optimise algorithms for on-time API implementation
• Support and Participate in the incubation of new NLP technologies

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
• 1-3 years of experience in developing production-grade Natural Language technologies and engines.
• 1-3 years of experience with Data Mining and Text Mining (Structured and unstructured data). Knowledge about NLP processes (Entity Recognition, Parsing).
• Experience in Python development and open-source ML/math toolkits preferred.
• Knowledge about Ontology management and construction (OWL, RDF, SPARQL, semantic repositories) preferred.
